Every now and then I start out on a painting and then, for one reason or another, forget about it. I came across an old trout today that I had started a long while ago and, having a little time on my hands, I thought I might see if I could finish it off.
It is now more or less done and so I popped out a few minutes ago to take a picture of it before the evening steals too many of its colours.
Here she is. An old trout.
That’s great Paul, You have a fantastic talent, I’m very jealous.
I can’t draw the curtains
That´s very kind of you to say Steve. I realised after I took the picture that there was a bit I had not finished but I´ve sorted it now. I hope things are good with you.
Simon, I´m sorry I realise I called you Steve in my reply! If it´s any consolation I don´t even know the names of people in my own family. My wife Catriona is always getting annoyed with me for calling her Pippa (my daughter´s name). I have been doing some fishing recently with a friend called Steve. Hence the error! I have been enjoying looking at your blog and look forward to meeting up to do a bit of fishing when you´re next over. By the way I am going to be in Leeds at the CLA game fair on 31st July to launch a book. If you were planning on going it would be nice to meet up for a pint. Take care, P
